During 26-31 July, Prof. LI Chuanrong, director of AOE/CST, Prof. TANG Linli, director of AOE/DEO, and Associate Prof. ZHOU Yongsheng, attent the 35th IEEE international conference on Earth science and remote sensing held in Milan, Italy.

In this conference, AOE/DEO published 3 papers, including "Permanent target for synthetic aperture radar image resolution assessment", "Multi-scale, multi-stage inversion method for retrieval of LAI", and "Prediction of oncomelania hupensis (vector of schistosomiasisi) distribution based on remote sensing data and fuzzy information theory".
