The 15th International Optoelectronic Expo was held in Shenzhen on September 4. As the co-organizer, AOE orgnized the institutes and subordinate companies of CAS in the area of Optoelectronic research to participate this expo. Wang Yu, dean of AOE, Niu Hongbing, secretary of the Party committee, and Fan Zhongwei, vice director of AOE, individually visited each company's booth. 

The Organizing Committee thanked AOE for great support over years, and awarded AOE "Award for significant contributions".
