Hoseted by AOE and co-organized by Shanghai engineering center for microsatellite , university of science and technology of China, and Shanghai insititute of technical physics of CAS, the 36th CEOS (Committee on Earth Observation Satellites) WGCV (Working Group on Calibration and Validation) Plenary Meeting was held in Shanghai successfully from May  13 to May 17. About 70 representatives from 17 foreign institutes and many dometic institutes attended the meeting. Xiaohan Liao, the director of national remote sensing center of china, and Jianyu Wang, the deputy director of CAS's Shanghai branch, both attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
