The 2nd Chinese satellite navigation academic conference was held in the Shanghai world expo center during May 18 and 20. The Chinese satellite navigation academic conference was hosted jointly by several units, such as Chinese satellite navigation systems management office, High and new technology development and industrialization of science department, National Defense Science and Industry Bureau a Division of Systems Engineering, Comprehensive Planning Division, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Division, Chinese satellite navigation and positioning application management center, CAS Bureau of High Technology Research and Development, and co-hoseted by AOE, Beijing Global Information Application Development Center, Shanghai Micro-Satellite Engineering Center, Chinese Academy of Space Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

The chairman of the sciences committee , academician Jiadong Sun, deputy director of the national defense science and industry bureau, Yafeng Hu, assistant director of the general armaments department, science and technology committee, Yanlin Han, Vice President of Chinese academy of sciences, Hejun Yin, deputy general manager of the Chinese aerospace science and technology corporation, Jie Yuan attended and made speeches in this conference.
