The 2009 annual summing-up and commending meeting is held at AOE on 29th, Jan, 2010. The staff and all the graduate students participated this general meeting. Hongbing, Niu, the secretary of the Party committee, chaired this meeting, and Dean Bin, Xiangli gave 2009 annual work summary report.

In the report, Dean Xiangli reviewed the major work, and made a comprehensive and detailed summary of the tasks of scientific research and engineering project assumed by our institute in 2009. He introduced the achievements and breakthroughs of our four key development areas in the past year, namely the field of space science and technology, aviation science and technology, optoelectronics fields of engineering and applied science and technology research. Bin, Xiangli also introduced the situations of our international and CAS-local cooperation, institutional reform of the mechanism, system / standardization and platform construction, talent building, new park construction, public affairs management, and asset finance situation. The second part of the report gave the work arrangements of 10 focus work in 2010. Dean Xiangli pointed out that 2010 was a very critical and important year in the development of our institute, and hoped that all departments can plan ahead, make early preparations to seize the opportunity. He also hoped that our staff could unite as one, carry forward our cause into the future,  work hard together to make all our undertakings to a rather high level. Finally, Dean Xiangli thanked the entire staff for their hard work and extanded the greetings of new year to the staff and their families, as the representative of official.

As the second agenda of the meeting, Hongbing, Niu red out the 2009 annual recognition decision, outstanding employees, a total of 55 people; activists of social organizations, 4 people; red flag Party branch, 3 branch.

Retrospecting 2009, we were down-to-earth, successfully completed all the work; Looking towards 2010, with official leadership in the lead, the AOE's staff would make persistent efforts and reach new heights!
