In order to strengthen the promotion and publicity of the literature resources, Xiaowei, Yang, a subject librarian of National Science Library, together with four intramural experienced researchers, was invited to hold a training seminar of literature resources by internal office on Nov. 12. More than 30 people participated in this training, consisting of the personnel of the interrelated office of research and representatives from the graduated students.

Teacher Yang gave in-depth and detailed explanations primarily on the following three topics:

1.　  An introduction to the resources and services of the national science laboratory; and the scope of the interlending agreement;

2.　  An introduction to some common databases, like the database resources and tools we may used;

3.　   An introduction to the main function of Endnote software, and how to write papers with the use of document database.

Subsequently, some people, such as Wenkuan Xu at the balloon center, Xingfang Yuan at the earth observation center, Yunfeng Ma at the department of optical engineering, Yang Gao at the department of space science, have made some special statements on how to use the library resources directly and conveniently in light of their work experience.

The training consists an additional question link, and the atmosphere is very warm. From the effect of answering, everyone has learned very well.

Through this training, the majority of researchers and graduated students have a more comprehensive understanding and awareness of the available libratory resources and services.
